Sundays at King’s Cross

We’re so glad you’ve decided to spend your Sunday with us.

We’re so glad you’ve decided to spend your Sunday with us.

9:30am: Coffee

10:15am: Sunday Gathering

Sunday services are the primary way that we gather together as a church. During these gatherings we sing, read scripture, listen to teaching, spend time in prayer, and take part in communion together. For almost 2,000 years, the weekly gathering of Christians has been the center of life within the church.

Regardless of where you are, or whether or not you consider yourself a Christian, you are welcome to join us!

What to Expect

We know that walking into a church for the first time is a big step, so we want to make sure that you’re prepared for what will happen when you visit us on a Sunday. Keep scrolling down this page to get an idea of what your experience will be like at King’s Cross!

  • There’s no one "type” of person at King’s Cross. There are people that are newly married, single, divorced, engaged, with a newborn, have several kids, teenagers, college students, single parents, old and young.

There are people who’ve never been to a church and aren’t sure what they believe every week. There are also people with confident faith in Jesus. We’re a church looking to help everyone in Orlando experience the beauty and power of Jesus.

  • We worship together through music, lifting up the name of Jesus as a family. During the service we sing 3-5 songs that remind us of the goodness and glory of God.

We also take Communion every week to remind us of our transforming union with Jesus !

  • Every Sunday we go to the Word of God for a word from God because we believe the Bible helps us live a deeper life with Jesus.

We read a passage of the Bible together and then listen to a teaching on what we read and how it should impact our real everyday lives.

  • At King’s Cross, we want to live in response to what God is saying and doing. After the teaching, we take time to pray for one another so that we could be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live like Jesus in the world.
